Recommend a parcel near Lake Sutherland
On December 12, the Clallam County Commissioners sent a letter to DNR nominating a timber sale with mature forest as a priority parcel for conservation under the Natural Climate Solutions program of the Climate Commitment Act, becoming the eighth county wanting to participate in this program! Clallam County historically has been deeply resistant to forest conservation, so this letter represents an important step forward, not just for this region but for our movement statewide.
