Act to Protect Clean Energy

Webinar April 15

Tax season is a reminder that decisions made today impact the future — choosing clean energy means a healthier home and a more resilient community.

Join the Let Americans Choose Clean Energy webinar on April 15 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. ET to learn more about federal clean energy tax credits, how they benefit us all, and what you can do to defend them.

Clean energy tax credits make it possible for more Americans to choose clean energy. In 2023, 2.3 million families took advantage of tax credits to make their homes healthier and more energy-efficient.1

Thanks to these incentives, homeowners got heat pumps, electric cars, and energy-efficient appliances — reducing indoor air pollution and making their homes more energy-efficient.

The impact wasn’t just on existing homes — 350,000 newly built homes were made cleaner and more efficient in 2023, cutting energy waste and reducing harmful air pollution.2

That’s real progress. That’s giving Americans the freedom to choose clean energy.

Congress has the opportunity to stand with Americans who want clean, healthy homes. Leaders from both sides of the aisle are stepping up. A group of 21 Republican lawmakers recently joined the call to defend clean energy tax credits, recognizing that these programs empower families, create jobs, and cut pollution.3

This is a moment for decision-makers to defend tax credits that make it easier for families to choose clean energy. But they will only do that if they see that it is something broadly supported by the public.

That’s why Environment America is hosting the Let Americans Choose Clean Energy webinar on April 15 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. ET, where our experts will share what’s at stake and how you can take action that makes a difference.
