Clallam County’s Climate Vulnerability Assessment is part of a larger Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan which identifies and quantifies the natural and human-caused hazards that threaten Clallam County, along with ways to reduce these risks.

Diane Harvey, Clallam’s Special Projects Manager, says about this plan: “Comparing 2019 to today, something has changed in public perceptions, and citizens are telling us their concerns are now drought and wildfires. This is a project that unites us.”
