As our warming climate melts glaciers and expands ocean waters, sea-level is rising worldwide. Dr. Ian Miller, coastal hazards specialist for Washington Sea Grant, will present a program on the science and impacts of rising seas, including threats here on the Olympic Peninsula.

Sea-level rise is just one of the many impacts of climate change affecting people around the world and right here at home. Olympic Climate Action is a grass-roots group seeking a safe, prosperous, sustainable future for residents of the Olympic Peninsula by addressing the threat of climate change.
