Washington State’s Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, August 4, with ballots being mailed out July 17. The top two vote-getters in each contest, regardless of party affiliation, will move on to the General Election in November.
In order to ensure that candidates who can best represent climate-wise choices appear on the November ballot, it is critical that our members vote in the Primary.
Per our endorsement policy, the OCA Endorsement Committee has carefully reviewed candidates in the Primary and made recommendations to the Board of Directors, who have considered and approved endorsements of the following candidates. More information about these endorsed candidates is available here.
(Note: We did not make endorsements specific to Jefferson County because of inadequate familiarity with the races; Jefferson County residents are encouraged to join our Endorsement Committee for future elections.)
