Probably the most important thing you can do right now to protect us from climate chaos is to get involved in this year’s elections; OCA does not have an endorsement policy, but here are some ideas for your consideration:
- QUESTIONS AT CANDIDATE FORUMS: OCA member Brian Grad is organizing people willing to attend one or more upcoming candidate forums and ask questions about climate action. His committee has thought up some questions. If interested, contact Brian.
- Learn about local candidates and help the ones who take strong stands on environmental protection.
- The WA Conservation Voters says it’s possible to elect a pro-climate State Senate: our winning grassroots program, the EverGreen Campaign, puts more boots on the ground in the districts where our research shows we have the best opportunity to win pro-climate seats in the Senate. Contribute here.
