HB 1112 – HFC Phase-out – Due date: 4/4/2019 – Message:
Please vote yes on HB 1112 in your Senate Ways and Means Committee. I support this bill, which phases out the sale and use of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), which are primarily used as refrigerants, by 2024. HFCs are extremely potent greenhouse gases with existing alternatives for their use.
HB 1578 – Oil Transport safety – Due date: 4/4/2019 – Message:
Please vote yes on HB 1578 in your Senate Ways & Means committee. The proven oil spill prevention tools in this bill would ensure that vessels carrying crude oil in high risks areas have the same requirements as oil tankers.

Please vote yes on E2SSB 5116 in your House Finance committee. This bill creates landmark legislation, which is very important to me. Please preserve target dates for coal plant shutdown by 2025 and carbon neutral electricity by 2030. Please limit opportunities for utilities to avoid being held accountable to these dates.
